Mississauga SEO

Best Mississauga SEO Experts

If you're a local business owner and need more clients, one of the most common things you'll hear is "You should rank higher in Google! Lot's of people search for businesses on Google, you're missing out!" I know you've heard it before, because I speak to local business owners every day about their marketing and they tell me their frustrations.

What are they frustrated about? The first of which is how the heck do you get Google to rank you higher? Is it even possible? There's a lot of confusion surrounding search engines and it's compounded by the fact that so called experts are a dime a dozen. Now a days, it sometimes feels like anyone can buy a book for $49.99 and then call themselves a guru on the subject.

The bottom line is you're not a fool, and I know that because the vast majority of people I speak to aren't. They are hard working business owners who have managed to carve out a piece of the market. They have happy customers and if only they could get their business in front of more potential customers, they know it'd be a win-win because those potential customers would be happy with their products or services.

That leaves us at a stand still, we don't want to be taken as a fool. We know there's a lot of snake oil salesmen who claim to be Mississauga SEO experts but when you speak to them they either start talking a bunch of technical jargon (perhaps to confuse you purposely) or you just don't get the right vibe from them and you know they're full of "it".

Listen, like I said I speak to business owners just like you every day almost all day. I understand what you're going through and I understand that you're willing to make the investment in a Mississauga SEO Expert or a Mississauga Web Design, but you need to be sure that you're (a) not being taken for a fool and (b) that you're going to get results and see an increase in your bottom line.

The benefit to working with us is that we get you. We don't waste your time and we certainly don't try to impress you with anything that doesn't increase your bottom line. The bottom line for us is this, you provide a good product or service to your customers and we want to help get the word out. We want to put qualified, interested and motivated buyers in front of your business to put you in a position where you can succeed. Nothing short of that is acceptable to us.

Are you used to seeing fancy word graphs like the one above?

As mentioned above, there's all kinds of Mississauga SEO "experts" out there. Let me explain to you the different types so hopefully you can spot them out if you come across them:

1. Computer Professionals.
These can range from computer professionals like designers or programmers who happen to read the odd article on SEO and think they know everything it takes to get you ranked. While they may be proficient in some areas of computers, it doesn't mean they can get your business the results you want.

A good comparison would be a really good waiter at a restaurant. He may be an excellent waiter, sharp, accommodating and anticipates your needs. He may even know a thing or two about how to crack some eggs or grill a steak, but would you really want him to cater your wedding? Probably not. You'd want a chef, or at least someone who runs a catering business with experience. Don't be fooled by computer professionals who claim to be SEO experts.

2. Part Timers.
With today's economy the way it is, there are a lot of people who are looking to supplement their income and really like the idea of being able to work from home. By no means do I want to sound like an elitist who claims there's no room in our industry for beginners, because that simply isn't true. However, do you really want a beginner to be in charge of your online marketing? We know how important SEO is these days for local businesses, why take that chance? We always recommend that beginners gradually build up their portfolio before trying to take on the experts.

3. The Slick Salesman.
Some people are marketers, while other people are salesman. Some salesmen think they can sell anything to anyone, and some of them can. But don't get lost in a sales pitch, if someone sounds like they're not quite an expert but can always refer to someone else and come up with the right answer, or if they defer your questions entirely and don't give you any straight answers, something might be a muck and you have reason to be concerned. Trust your gut when dealing with people and make sure you're applying your basic common sense. If you were dealing with someone in your industry, how would you weed out the experts from the salesmen?

Well there you have it, those are the three main types of people to avoid in the so called Mississauga SEO Experts arena. Now that you know what to avoid, let's talk some more about what you should look for.

1. Ask them how long they've been doing SEO.
Again, if you're looking to get your nephew's lemonade business of the ground, then it's perfectly fine to go with an amateur Mississauga SEO. However when it comes to your livelihood, your pride, you don't want to take any chances with new comers or start ups. Go with people who have a proven track record.

2. Make sure they know their stuff.
Ask them for examples of their rankings or better yet, google "Mississauga SEO". You see, when people search for a Mississauga Plumber, that's what they put in Google. The same goes for SEO, every SEO agency in the city is fighting tooth and nail to rank for Mississauga SEO, so you can see who's the best SEO in the city because Google tells you. Google doesn't make the plumbers do a series of plumbing work to see who should be number one, but that's exactly what they do to see who should be #1 for Mississauga SEO.

3. Be very weary of the pricing.
There's nothing inherently wrong with a good deal or looking for one. However if you're being offered SEO for $599 a month, what do you really expect? Do you really think you're going to add another $50,000 or even $100,000 in revenue because you paid someone below minimum wage to do some SEO work? Chances are slim. Real SEO that delivers real results takes time done by professionals with experience so you need to be realistic. Don't fall for cookie cutter packages because they're simply a waste of your money, you're better off not spending your money at all.

In conclusion, yes, Mississauga SEO can aid your business immensely, but yes, you do need to be careful with whom you work with.
